About me

A little about Ducky.

Brent, also known as Ducky.

I've always enjoyed technology and gadgets, but around 2023 I started exploring more of what goes into them. After building Hope House Hub and my first website in mid-2026, I found that I especially enjoy the creative side of frontend development—working with colors, layouts, and details until a page feels right.

I like figuring things out, learning with help along the way, and building something other people might use or enjoy. Working on the Hope House Guthrie website encouraged me to finally turn my own little "under construction" page into something more that I could share.

PyroDuck Tech is a place for me to grow, experiment, and try ideas while I pursue my degree in cybersecurity. My friend TJ is part of that journey, sharing ideas and building alongside me. I'm also open to website projects where we can put our skills to work together.

Away from coding, I enjoy Magic: The Gathering—building decks, finding artwork I like, and gradually replacing my proxies with the cards I want to own. That interest inspired BinderLink, a project I’m building where players can create chase lists, list cards for sale, and connect with other collectors.
